A reputable agricultural company in the dairy industry requires the services of a QC Officer/Supervisor at their plant in Bethlehem, Free State. Duties include: Ensuring food safety & quality standards is adhered to; QC duties relating to the intake of all milk from farmers, Testing of all milk from farmers, pasteurised milk, maas, cream and water; Auditing of factory, inside and outside on hygiene parameters; Auditing of farmers’ milk parlours on quality parameters; Auditing of staff on hygiene parameters; Auditing of milk tankers; Corrective and preventative action from lab; QC report to farmers on milk quality; Co-ordinate inter-departmental activities; Ordering of goods; Safety & Security in the workplace; Staff training programme. Requirements: ND Food Technology or related field, minimum 2 years’ experience in QC and food safety in the food industry, good communication and interpersonal skills.
