Conference coordinator required in Limpopo.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 senior certificate
  • Drivers licence – a must-have
  • Opera and Micros knowledge – a must-have
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft) 
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written 
  • Be responsible and dependable
  • Have a positive attitude, self-disciplined, and motivated
  • Have numeracy skills and organisational skills
  • Perform well in a pressurised and competitive environment 
  • Sales-driven 
  • Two years’ experience in a similar role 

Skills/duties:

  • Creating quotations (Opera) 
  • Communication with guests as well as quotation follow-ups via email and telephone
  • Following up on deposits, balances and master accounts
  • Making bookings on Opera  
  • Finalising agendas, rooming lists, and payments
  • Internal communication with departments
  • Tele-sales  
  • Reports  
  • Finalising agendas, rooming lists, and payments
  • Daily procedures in the office and daily checklists
  • Following standard operating procedures  
  • Working with PCOs, STOs, corporate sompanies, and suppliers 

Applicants must reside in Limpopo or surrounding area.
