Apprentice Turner Machinist
We are urgently looking for Apprentice Turner Machinists to join our team in our factory as a starting position with room for growth. Key responsibility’s & tasks
1) Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometres and Vernier Calliper’s.
2) Machine parts using machine such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
3) Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
4) Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
6) Monitor the feed and speed of machines..
7) Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed 8) Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.
Skills Experience & Knowledge
2-3 Years Apprentice
Flaunt in Afrikaans and English (Read write & speak)
Preferable Grade 12 with mathematics
