A leading financial institution has a vacancy for a head of communications.
This position holds overall responsibility for the reputation management and communications strategy of the institution.
The incumbent is responsible for managing, building, and growing the media reputation in a clear, consistent, and professional manner; providing executives, business unit heads, marketing and business units with leadership, advice, and support on media issues; and building and maintaining relationships with key editors and journalists, both locally and internationally.
- Eight years of experience at senior level across multiple communication and marketing disciplines such as: advertising, corporate communications, media/PR, internal communication, research, and marketing; managing marketing/communication specialists and teams and managing strategies and projects across multiple geographies; collaborating and managing internal stakeholders and external agencies to achieve strategic outcomes.
