JOHANNESBURG – Dr Makhosi Khoza says she’s taking legal advice over the ill-discipline charges she’s facing.

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal had previously threatened to take action against her for not towing the party line.

But she has fired back, questioning why she’s being singled out when many others have called on the president to step down.

Khoza’s publicly criticised President Jacob Zuma, saying he’s unfit to lead the country.

She’s also rejected the offer of private security from parliament.

The ANC MP says that both she and her daughter have received death threats.

But she said she can’t accept protection from the very people who put her in danger in the first place.

Khoza’s disciplinary hearing is scheduled for 10 September.
